Cowan’s 19-yard touchdown pass to Evan Crater with 1 minute, 53 seconds left proved to be the difference. The Iredell County record seventh TD pass of the game moved the sophomore quarterback into a 10th-place tie for single-game TD passes in the N.C. High School Athletic Association record book.
Cowan was 22 of 35 passing for 425 yards.
