A yellow weather warning for wind has been placed over parts of Cambridgeshire and the rest of the UK. The weather warning will be in place from 3pm today (Saturday, September 20) until 4am on Sunday, September 21.
The Met Office issued a warning saying some inland locations might face gusts of wind of up to 50 to 60 mph. The Met Office said: "There is a chance that a short spell of very strong winds will affect parts of England and Wales on Saturday afternoon and night."
The weather warning covers areas in Cambridgeshire, including Peterborough , Wisbech, and Huntingdon . South Cambridgeshire, including the city of Cambridge, has not been placed under the weather warning.
