Two people died in a crash on a highway in Massachusetts early Saturday morning.
The fatal crash happened on the westbound side of Interstate 195 in Dartmouth, according to Massachusetts State Police.
It was around 1:20 a.m., near mile marker 19.8, when the single car crashed on the highway. Both people who were inside were killed, police said.
All westbound lanes of the highway were closed at exit 22 as a result of the crash, and traffic was diverted to Faunce Corner Road.
The highway reopened at around 5:20 a.m., according to police.
State police offered its condolences to the families of the two people who were killed. No further information was immediately available.
