HOUSTON – Deputies were investigating a shooting that left a woman dead in southwest Harris County.

Investigators said the woman, her brother and her boyfriend met someone on Sierra Blanca Drive near Alief Clodine Road at about 7:20 p.m. Friday.

Investigators said a fight then broke out and the woman was shot and died at the scene.

The woman’s boyfriend and brother were cooperating with investigators.

It’s unclear why they were meeting.
