After the Eagles beat the Chiefs, 20-17, on Sunday — using a tush push for the decisive fourth-quarter touchdown, a touchdown in which a couple offensive linemen jumped early — the tush push once again became a massive topic of conversation around NFL circles.
Many have voiced their opinions that the tush push should be banned, which nearly happened this offseason. The Packers’ proposal got 22 votes and needed 24 votes to pass. Now, though, it feels like the tush push is on borrowed time.
