There seems to be a collective longing in the air. A discordant note waiting for resolution. The upheaval and violence in the world continues and feels like it worsens by the week, if not the day.

And yet…tomorrow will come. And tomorrow, September 21, is the 44th International Day of Peace. A day the United Nations has designated to promote peace and compassion among all people. A day that persists despite the violence, despite the discord, that runs rampantly around us. It brings me some hope to remember that tomorrow exists, that the desire for peace remains, and people are willing to work for it. We need to work for it. Copy article link
