Edinburgh High School canceled its homecoming football game on Friday night as it investigates a formal harassment complaint filed late Thursday involving members of the football team.

Jim Halik, the interim superintendent at Edinburgh, said the harassment complaint was filed to the superintendent and principal, Kevin Rockey. Halik cited FERPA, a law that protects the privacy of student education records, in declining to discuss the natire of the harassment further.
