You may notice a big absence on the Michigan Wolverines' sidelines on Saturday in their game against Nebraska: There's no Sherrone Moore, the head coach who led the football team to an 8-5 record last year and a ReliaQuest Bowl win.
Why is he not there? And what's Biff Poggi -- the former Charlotte head coach -- doing at the helm?
We've got you. Back in May, Moore was suspended two games in the 2025 season due to the infamous Connor Stalions sign-stealing scandal. Moore missed last week's game against Central Michigan and will miss this Saturday's contest against Nebraska.
As for Poggi? He's the associate coach for Michigan who was named as interim coach for these two games.
There's your answer. Enjoy the game!
