BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Police are investigating after a person was found shot to death in a bushy area behind a business in Baton Rouge.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, James Lee Critney, 25, was found dead in an area along Scenic Highway near Chippewa Street.

Police said they believe Critney was shot after getting involved in a physical altercation on Friday morning, September 19.

The investigation is ongoing.
