A 77-year-old Detroit man was pronounced dead at the hospital after the vehicle he was driving on southbound Lodge M-10 struck the median wall and flipped, according to police.

Preliminary investigation by Michigan State Police Second District shows the man may have had a cardiac event while driving.

A 77-year-old man from Detroit, who may have been affected by a cardiac event, died after the vehicle he was driving rolled over on southbound M-10 Lodge near Linwood Street in Detroit on Friday, Sept. 19, according to preliminary investigation by police.

The man was driving on M-10 near Linwood around 9:50 p.m. when the his vehicle ran off the roadway, struck the median wall, overturned and came to rest on its roof, according to Michigan State Police Second District on X .
