A woman was tragically found dead in a house.

Police were called to a property on Cleggs Lane in Little Hulton, Salford , on Friday afternoon.

Limited details have been revealed, but Greater Manchester Police confirmed the woman was pronounced dead inside.

No age for her has been released and she hasn't been named.

It's understood a file of evidence will be passed to a coroner ahead of further investigations.
