RIDLEY TWP. — It would be easy to attribute Ridley’s winning streak, which reached four games with a 35-0 victory over Radnor Friday night at Phil Marion Field, to the offense.

The Green Raiders (4-1, 4-0 Central) have been putting up big numbers. They’re averaging 40 points per game overall and 46.5 over the last four contests.

Yet it’s not just the offense that has Ridley humming. The defense has done its job, too. Ridley is allowing just 8.4 points per game, 5.5 in the winning streak. Friday’s shutout was the second in a row, the first time the Green Raiders have blanked consecutive opponents since 2021.

And it’s been a group effort.

“There’s no superstars,” said linebacker Kevin Farley, who had two of Ridley’s five tackles for loss. “It’s all 11 guys working together.”
