Following a 0-2 start, the New York Giants enter Week 3 needing to show some sort of promise with head coach Brian Daboll's seat getting warmer.

If the Giants continue to struggle, Daboll is expected to turn to rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart as a " saving grace " to show progress and hope for the future.

Per Dan Duggan of The Athletic, the Giants are expected to expand the role of Dart and fellow rookie running back Cam Skattebo against the Chiefs on "Sunday Night Football."

New York gave Dart snaps near the red zone, and Duggan thinks Dart will receive snaps in the red zone this week.
