LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A southern Indiana man is facing charges after he admitted to years-long sexual abuse, the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office said.

According to a post from Prosecutor Tara Coats Hunt , on July 2, Marcus Miller went to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and told police he had engaged in repeated inappropriate sexual contact with a victim since they were 12 years old. The victim, now 19, would confirm the abuse in a later interview.

“The nature of these allegations reflects a serious betrayal of trust. Our office is committed to protecting victims and ensuring justice is pursued to the fullest extent of Indiana law,” Hunt said in the release.
