BROOKLYN, N.Y. – A Bedford-Stuyvesant man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the deadly stabbing of a neighbor in an attack prosecutors described as a calculated ambush inside the Tompkins Houses.

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced Thursday that Marquis Shiloh, 35, was sentenced by Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Donald Leo to 25 years behind bars and five years of post-release supervision. A jury convicted him of first-degree manslaughter in July.

Prosecutors said the attack happened on July 12, 2023, when 26-year-old Stephon Sinclair took the elevator down to the lobby of 760 Park Avenue.
