(NewsNation) — The Sacramento Police Department said they have a suspect in their custody for the shooting at the ABC10 news station.

In a post on social platform X, the department said it had arrested 64-year-old Anibal Hernandezsantana on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm.

Police said a motive to Friday's shooting is still under investigation, and thanked the FBI for providing resources for finding the alleged shooter.

At the time of the shooting, there were people inside of the building but no one was killed or injured, according to police.
