Malone, NY – The search for fugitive Anthony Bechand ramped up Saturday as New York State Police joined forces with the U.S. Marshals Task Force, the Northern Regional Special Response Team, and multiple local agencies in Franklin County.

Bechand’s vehicle was discovered in the county on Sunday, September 14, sparking a wide-ranging search effort that remains active. Authorities believe he is still in the area and are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help locate him.

Law enforcement is specifically asking residents with camps, trail cameras, or security cameras in the region to check for unusual or suspicious activity and to report it to State Police at 518-897-2000.
