PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH (April 14, 2025) – A high-speed chase that began as a routine traffic stop ended with two arrests Sunday evening after a Honda Odyssey fled law enforcement at speeds topping 100 miles per hour.
According to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy first spotted the 2004 light blue Honda Odyssey around 5:30 p.m. on US-23 near Circleville . The vehicle had visible damage, including a broken windshield and a shattered rear passenger window.
When the deputy attempted a traffic stop near the Sheetz on South Court Street, the driver initially slowed but then accelerated, running a stop sign, driving into oncoming lanes, and nearly striking multiple vehicles. The suspect vehicle then entered US-23 northbound, swerving off-road at times to evade capture.
