As Texas Tech was busy with Utah for their Big 12 football opener, fans were taking to social media to share celebrations, frustrations and observations.

There was plenty of hype ahead of the game, with the No. 17 Red Raiders taking on the No. 16 Utes on the road at Salt Lake City.

As the game started, many fans were frustrated by false start penalities on the Red Raiders in the notoriously noise Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Yeah, fans were getting tired of seeing yellow flags on the turf.

The game started getting a bit more interesting in the 4th quarter.
