FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A Fort Wayne business hosted a benefit this weekend for a local nonprofit organization.

Texas Roadhouse held a ‘Party in the Parking Lot’ on Saturday, in support of Blessings in a Backpack.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the free, family event offered a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, a bread-eating contest, prize opportunities, games, music, and more to Texas Roadhouse guests.

10% of all food sales during the event were donated to Blessings in a Backpack. Nonperishable items were also collected for the organization.
