Who is Kyle Monangai? Bears rookie RB depth chart spot in spotlight with D'Andre Swift injury

The Chicago Bears didn't change much with their RB depth chart this offseason.

The only running back they added to their roster was seventh-round draft pick Kyle Monangai, who they apparently trust to get the job done if called upon.

It comes into the spotlight in Week 3 as starting RB D'Andre Swift heads into Sunday with a questionable tag on the injury report.

If Monangai has to play, the 0-2 Bears will need him to come through against the Dallas Cowboys .

Who is Kyle Monangai?

Kyle Monangai is a 23-year old rookie running back for the Chicago Bears.

He grew up in New Jersey and played his college football at Rutgers, where he was first-team All-Big Ten in 2024
