Towson, MD – A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a violent summer stabbing that left a woman seriously injured in Towson, police said.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit charged Daniel Johnson with attempted first-degree murder after a July 31 attack in the 1800 block of Glen Keith Blvd. Officers responding to the scene found a 57-year-old woman suffering from multiple puncture wounds.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her current condition has not been released.

Johnson was taken into custody and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center as the case moves through court.
