LEXINGTON, Ky. — No. 6 Kentucky continued its winning ways Saturday afternoon as senior outside hitter Eva Hudson notched a school three-set record 28 kills in a 3-0 sweep of Washington (25-23, 27-25, 25-21).

According to ESPN's Stats & Research department per UK Athletics, Hudson's 28 kills were the first time a player in NCAA volleyball had 28 kills or more in a three-set match since Oct. 2019. The previous record at UK was set by outside hitter Leah Edmond on Nov. 18, 2018, when she had 22 against Missouri.

Hudson hit .481 on the afternoon, the highest hitting percentage for a UK attacker in a single match with 10 or more kills all season. She added eight digs.

The Wildcats hit .271 as a team, holding the Huskies' offense to just .198. The team's defense had eight blocks.
