The Milwaukee Brewers have the best story in MLB this season.

After losing several key pieces in the offseason, Milwaukee hasn't skipped a beat, and it is likely to head into the postseason with the best record in baseball. That happens because of excellent leadership and manager Pat Murphy revealed who that has been this season.

"He's it on our team," Murphy told Bob Costas of outfielder Sal Frelick. "He's the dude that represents how to play the game."

Newsweek was given access to the interview ahead of its airing, which is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on MLB Network.

Frelick has become a staple at the top of the Brewers lineup and Murphy made it known what a pleasure it is to have a leader and player with the "it" factor like Frelick does.
