SOUTH BEND ― Ryan Browne and Devin Mockobee are officially triple threats.

Browne, Purdue football 's sophomore quarterback, entered Saturday's game at Notre Dame with five passing and two rushing touchdowns this season.

Mockobee, Purdue's heralded running back, has 24 career touchdowns: 22 rushing and 2 receiving.

This touchdown was a first for both.

After Nitro Tuggle's diving catch inside the 10, followed by a false start, Purdue had a first-and-goal from the 14.

Browne handed off to Mockobee, then ran to his left. Mockobee then threw to Browne for a 14-yard touchdown to tie Purdue and Notre Dame 7-7 with 10:58 remaining in the first quarter.
