EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A truck show highlighting the hard work of truck drivers was held Saturday.

Evansville-based Atlas World Group hosted its first hometown truck show at its headquarters.

The Stars of the Stripes Truck Show and Social highlighted designed and customized Atlas tractor-trailers.

The free, public event offered contests, food trucks, games and a Best in Show context for drivers.

Those with Atlas World Group say this event isn’t just about the trucks, it’s about the drivers.

“These guys are the masters of the industry. So the drivers are really at the heart of the business, and this event is all about putting a spotlight on these guys because they are the rockstars for Atlas Van Lines, really,” said Atlas Van Lines Director o Operations Aaron Chenoweth.
