Police have renewed their appeal for a missing university student, almost three weeks after he was last seen . ‌

The last known sighting of Yuxin Cao, 22, was between 7pm and 9pm on September 2, in the top car park at Dumyat Hill, in the Ochil Hills near Stirling . ‌

Prior to this, he was seen near the University of Stirling campus the day before, at the Willow Court student accommodation block in Bridge of Allan. ‌

Extensive enquiries are ongoing, and local police officers are being supported by the Ochil Mountain Rescue Team, air support and the dog unit to assist in tracing him.

Yuxin is described as 5ft 8in tall and of a medium build, with short black hair. When last seen he was wearing dark clothing, including a hooded top, and may have a green bag.
