MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - University of Wisconsin police say 18 people were arrested during Saturday’s Badger football game against Maryland.
According to UWPD, 10 of the people arrested at the game were UW students.
Each of those arrested also received citations. Sixteen citations were tied to underage alcohol use, UWPD said. The other arrests include throwing objects and obstructing.
Thirty people were kicked out of the game, with 18 of those involving UW students, according to UWPD. The reasons included alcohol-related issues, smoking and vaping, as well as disorderly behavior.
UWPD said there were 17 paramedic calls, three ambulance transports and 23 first aid calls. Officers also reported contacting three individuals with a blood alcohol content of .20 or higher.
