Baccarat once again was the most popular table game at Indiana casinos during the 2025 state budget year — narrowly displacing the long-running favorite, blackjack, for a third time in the past four years.

The Indiana Gaming Commission's recently released annual report shows $639.3 million was wagered on baccarat in Hoosier State casinos between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, compared to $634.9 million in blackjack bets placed during the same period.

Data show baccarat (1.6%) play was slightly up, while blackjack (2.2%) play was slightly down compared to 2024. But 2025 baccarat play was also an incredible 40.4% greater than the $455.4 million of pre-pandemic baccarat bets in 2019.

The growth was largely due to interest in baccarat among guests at the Hard Rock Casino North
