A man has died from injuries he sustained a mass shooting near the Lake Street and I-35W transit station in Minneapolis on Monday.

Minneapolis PD said Adam Peterson, 46, died at the hospital on Saturday.

He was one of five men shot during the incident near East Lake Street and Stevens Avenue South just after 11 a.m. Monday.

It was one of two mass shootings on Monday, with the other occurring about 11 hours later at a homeless encampment at Lake Street and 28th Avenue South.

As of Saturday, none of the shooters in either incident have been arrested.

"Preliminary information indicates that shots were fired near the greenway and additional shots were fired on the walkway near the highway offramp that leads to Lake St and Stevens Avenue," Minneapolis PD said.
