The Seattle Seahawks signed safety Jerrick Reed II to their 53-man roster and elevated safety D’Anthony Bell and running back Jacardia Wright from the practice squad ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

The moves come after Seattle listed running back Zach Charbonnet (foot), Pro Bowl safety Julian Love (hamstring), two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) and rookie safety Nick Emmanwori (ankle) as doubtful on Friday’s injury report .

Bell and Reed give the Seahawks some depth at safety. If Love and Emmanwori are both unable to play Sunday, then some combination of Bell, Reed and Ty Okada would serve as Seattle’s second and third safeties behind starter Coby Bry
