PORTLAND, Maine — A Wiscasset man is facing charges after reportedly speeding and crashing into another car on I-295 in Portland Friday night.
A South Portland police officer saw a Ford F-250 reportedly speeding while going north around 10:37 p.m., according to a news release from Maine State Police.
The driver of the truck, 25-year-old Taylor Delano, apparently crashed into an Acura shortly after, the release said. The truck overturned, broke through a guardrail, and came to a rest against several trees.
Delano, his passenger, and the driver of the Acura were all treated for minor injuries at Maine Medical Center.
State police said speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.
