DEDHAM — It can be difficult to leave a place that feels like home.

Saturday marked a new chapter in the life of newly-hired Nobles football coach Jim O’Leary. With great players like Braylen Jenkins, moving on can be a bit easier.

The junior finished with nine carries for 73 yards rushing to go with a pair of touchdowns, as Nobles kicked off a new era with a 13-10 comeback victory over Middlesex in an ISL tilt.

“What a great atmosphere,” said O’Leary. “What a great field. We didn’t play great early, but we kind of corrected some mistakes, and we turned it on at the end. Braylen is just a phenomenal athlete.”

O’Leary had spent the past 15 years coaching at Governor’s Academy. He had even been living at the Byfield-based campus for nearly a decade. Last November, he departed the program
