Western New York has over 6,000 homeless people. There are many reasons for homelessness. We need to be compassion, not judgmental about it. This problem is overlooked for the most part, and needs to be addressed seriously just like any of our other problems in society.

I feel the social service workers are doing the best they can with what they have. But in my opinion, it's the government that needs to step up. That system is broken in this state and country.
