HARTFORD, Conn. — Connecticut State Police are searching for a man who allegedly fled from the scene of a crash on Interstate 91 in Hartford on Saturday afternoon.

State police say the two-car crash occurred at approximately 1:57 p.m. on I-91 south in the area of Exit 33.

After one of the drivers fled the scene, state police deployed a K9 unit to try to track him down, which was unsuccessful.

The driver who left the location of the crash is said to be a Hispanic man wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and flip flops.

A wrecker was dispatched to the scene to confiscate his vehicle.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information related to it or the man’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Connecticut State Police at Troop H.
