PHOENIX — Emilie Kiser is opening up in her first video since her son, Trigg, drowned in their backyard pool.

Kiser, a Valley social media influencer with millions of followers, said in the new video that she is just doing her best to try to understand her new reality.

"I'm just doing my best every day to figure this out, figure my life out, so I'm just taking it day by day. I am going to do the same thing with my content," Kiser said.

A necklace bearing Trigg's name is prominent in the video.

"Obviously, you guys know that the last few months have been really, really hard, and I'm not going to sugar coat it, I'm not going to lie, I'm not going to sit here and act like things are fine and dandy and I don't want it to come off that way with me coming back and making content again," Kis
