NORMAL, Ill. (WMBD) -- Crews in Normal have cleared the scene of a crash involving a school bus that sent seven students to the hospital.
The crash occurred around the corner of Normal and Marian avenues, according to a post on the Normal Fire Department Facebook page.
A McLean County Unit District No. 5 school bus was struck by a car in the front, said fire department spokesman Matt Swaney. There was very minor damage reported.
Passengers on the bus were evaluated on the scene, and seven students were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Swaney said the remaining students got on a different bus to finish the route. There were approximately 60 children on the bus at the time of the crash.
