SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Artists added color to the streets of downtown Sioux City at the Alley Art Festival Saturday.

The Sioux City Government Facebook Page says Sioux City’s “largest refreshed, outdoor gallery” was filled with creative energy, food, and music.

The event on Saturday, Sept. 20, providing creative fun for artists of all ages.

The festival is hosted by Vangarde Arts , a Sioux City club that explores new boundaries of creativity and fosters social change in Sioux City, according to Downtown Partners.

According to the Alley Art Facebook Page , the alleys, located at Pierce Street and Nebraska Street, and Fourth Street and Sixth Street, added 28 new murals to the gallery’s more than 140 murals.

People could also support artists by buying from 27 art vendors and grabbing
