Evesham, NJ – A violent three-vehicle crash erupted at the intersection of Route 70 and Locust Avenue on Saturday afternoon when a tractor-trailer barreled through a red light, colliding with two other vehicles, police said.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m., sending emergency crews racing to the scene. Among the victims was a one-year-old child riding in a minivan, who suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. The child remains in critical condition.
Another individual sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. All drivers involved stayed and are cooperating with investigators, officials confirmed.
