Lincoln, Neb. — While so much attention has been on Michigan freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood and his poise, veteran running back Justice Haynes has established himself as a vital part of this offense.

Haynes, entered Michigan’s 30-27 victory over Nebraska in the Big Ten opener, as the nation’s sixth-leading rusher, averaging 129.3 yards a game. On Saturday, he rushed for 149 yards on 17 carries and scored a 75-yard touchdown for the second time this season. He has rushed for 100 yards or more in each game this season, the longest streak since Blake Corum’s eight consecutive 100-plus-yard rushing games in 2022.
