Riverhounds SC has apparently won a critical road match against Hartford Athletic on Saturday, but that is yet to be determined.

Moments after newly acquired forward Chase Boone converted the rebound of a Brigham Larsen shot into a 2-1 Riverhounds lead at 88:36, Athletic forward Marlon Hairston got tied up with a Pittsburgh player at the top of the box in the Riverhounds’ end.

Hairston immediately interacted with Riverhounds captain Danny Griffin and, afterward, went over to referee Greg Dopka and had a lengthy discussion throughout stoppage time.

Dopka stopped the clock as he and Hairston had an animated discussion that ended with Hairston leaving the pitch and Dopka sending players to their respective benches.
