HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing man with dementia.

Officers say 72-year-old Alonzo Hines was last seen around 7 p.m. Saturday, September 20, after walking away from his home on Windmill Trace. His family reported him missing after they couldn’t reach him or find him.

A statewide Silver Alert has been issued.

Hines is described as a 5’11’’ tall, weighing between 136 and 140 pounds. He is bald, has brown eyes, and wears glasses. Police say he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and navy blue pajama pants.

Anyone who sees Hines is urged to call 911 immediately or contact High Point Police at 336-883-3224.
