ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. - Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County hosted a fundraising event Saturday in an effort to help more local families find safe and attainable housing.
The event was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and organized as part of the organization's "Over The Edge" campaign.
Funds raised will directly support Habitat for Humanity's local construction efforts, including a 46-home neighborhood in Wentzville.
"I believe that every family deserves a decent place to live. Really it's as simple as that. Habitat for Humanity is that opportunity for families that are unable to find that," said Michelle Woods, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County.
