A serious two-vehicle collision has led to the closure of Highway 3 between Delhi and Simcoe on Saturday night.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene at about 8:15 p.m.

Highway 3 in both directions from Lynedoch Road to Scott Street are closed. Fertilizer Road is also closed from Windham Road 14 to Lynedoch Road, police said in a media release late Saturday night.

The investigation is ongoing. Roads are expected to be closed for several hours, said police.

No further details were provided by police.

One person posted on social media that there were several police vehicles, ambulance and fire vehicles at the scene. Several people commented about previous collisions on that section of road.
