BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - No. 14 Texas A&M Volleyball swept the Loyola Marymount Lions 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-22) on Saturday afternoon at Reed Arena.
Why did A&M win? The Aggies offense finished with a .379 hitting percentage in their win over LMU. Senior Emily Hellmuth lead A&M with 13 kills.
Who stood out? Kyndall Stowers pushed the Aggies to their win in the third set, scoring the last five straight points of the set, including her match winning ace.
What does this mean moving forward? A&M swept the entire Texas A&M Invitational, giving the Aggies good momentum headed into conference play this week.
