PAYNE COUNTY (KFOR) - Guthrie Public Schools says students and a staff member were involved in a head-on collision on State Highway 33 and Coyle Road.

Six students and a choir director from Guthrie High School were hit head-on by a pickup.

The school shared these pictures from the scene.

The school district says the group was coming home from the Oklahoma State football game in Stillwater.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a pickup truck could not stop in time when a car turned left onto Coyle Road. That's when the pickup driver swerved and hit the school's car head-on.

The school says the students were working a concession stand at the game, trying to raise money for their choir program.
