A pair of first-half goals propelled Notre Dame, No. 17 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 2-0 win against Colonial Valley Conference rival Allentown in Lawrenceville.

Irish seniors Landon Hoenisch and Luca Ercolano scored goals as Notre Dame remained undefeated in CVC play (5-0).

Hoenisch and Ercolano have combined for 12 goals and six assists in seven games.

Notre Dame goalie Anthony Merluse saved five shots.

Notre Dame extends its winning streak to three games and is now 6-1. All six Irish wins are shutouts.

Allentown is 5-2.
