The Peltzer Pumpkin Farm in Temecula opens for its 29th season Sunday with the customary face- and pumpkin-painting, petting farm, pig races, pony rides, food trucks and additions to its carnival games.

The farm will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m Friday through Sunday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Admission is $4 Friday through Sunday and $2 Monday through Thursday. Children under 2 years old are admitted free with a paid adult while children 2 and older must pay the entry fee.

The petting farm includes donkeys, sheep and goats and has an additional $4 entry fee. Pony rides are $10 person. There is a 70-pound weight limit.

Rides aboard the Peltzer Express train are $6 per person, with children under 2 free with a paid adult.
