From the moment A.J. Ewart could walk, golf was never far from reach.
Now, in his third season on the PGA Tour Americas — a developmental circuit that feeds into the PGA Tour -- the 26-year-old is on the cusp of becoming a regular on golf’s biggest stage.
Growing up in Coquitlam, Ewart was immersed in the game from day one, thanks to his father, a former touring pro and golf instructor who even had his own TV show.
“Since I could walk, I had a club in my hand,” Ewart said in a phone interview on Wednesday.
