Fan-made Pokémon projects have always been some of the best around and it's little surprise that Nintendo is so litigious about it because the final products really could be mistaken for Game Freak's own work.
One of the best examples in recent times was Pokémon Odyssey, a custom built game for the Game Boy Advance emulator that was based on the already excellent FireRed.
That in mind, the developers of the mod have just announced a sequel in Pokémon Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lemuria, which takes players to the titular kingdom, where they'll be given the chance to catch and battle over 250 reimagined Pokémon known as Etrian variants.
The big gameplay change is that you will start by picking from one of nine classes in Medic, Survivalist, Protector, Pugilist, Ninja, Gunner, Alchemist and Sove
